Your Beachfront Escape on the South Coast

Self-catering cabanas just 100m from pristine Amanzimtoti Beach

Our Story

A Place Where the Water is Sweet

Legend has it that when the Zulu King Shaka tasted the water here in 1828, he declared “Kanti amanza mtoti” — meaning “So, the water is sweet.” From that moment, Amanzimtoti was born, and its colourful heritage has made it one of South Africa’s most beloved coastal destinations.

Inyoni Rocks — meaning “Place of Birds” — is nestled on the northern side of Amanzimtoti’s beautiful bathing beach, situated between the suburbs of Doonside and Warner Beach. Our self-catering duplex cabanas sit just steps from the warm Indian Ocean, offering families and groups an unforgettable beachside retreat.
